Two SKIN partners Martin Collison, from Collison & Associates, and Adrienn Molnár, from Ghent University are visiting the 'Transition in Agriculture – Agricultural Economics in Transition’ conference in Budapest, on 10-11th of September 2018. This conference is organized by the Agricultural Economics and Rural Development research unit of the Institute of Economics of CERSHAS (Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences).
The conference will deal with issues, such as productivity and efficiency, short food chains, agricultural trade or rural development, and will bring together researchers from several European countries, such as Slovakia, Estonia, Belgium, UK and Poland. Martin will be speaking at the conference on the topic of ‘Technology Disruption of the Food Economy and the Opportunities for SMEs’.
