Newsletter 2 - April 2018

The Short supply chain Knowledge and Innovation Network – SKIN aims at stimulating the creation of a collaborative network in different EU agriculture sectors through the improvement of knowledge exchange among European farmers, researchers, practitioners, policy makers and citizens about Short Food Supply Chains.
The interactive and innovative model promoted by SKIN is intended to integrate and share practical knowledge with those players who would benefit the most from it. Do you want to get better insight of good practices in short food supply chain? Please discover the SKIN good practices repository!

We are now organizing our 4th project meeting in Mechelen (23-25 April 2018) to discuss about the results obtained till now and to pave the way for the activities ahead of us.
Moreover, in the second period of project activities, we will be focused on strengthening the network, whereby, 25 Regional Nodes will be set up in each country represented by SKIN. Each Node will act as a hub for all SFSC players and as an interactive meeting point supporting knowledge sharing and discussions among actors and stakeholders about innovative solutions in the short food supply chain domain.
You are always welcome to the SKIN community!

Efficiently yours,
Fedele Colantuono and Prof. Francesco Contò
